My name is Elisha Fernandes, and I am overjoyed that you have landed here. I’m a EMDR therapist, yoga facilitator and trauma professional, offering resources to teens and adults that lead them toward being their best self.
I am trained in multiple interventions including trauma sensitive yoga and EMDR; and have developed supportive therapeutic relationships using creative resources, teaching concrete skills and using research validated practices that help people attain their goals.
What is "trauma sensitive" you might ask?
Trauma sensitive is awareness and being equipped to recognize trauma symptoms, respond skillfully and prevent re-traumatization. It is with this awareness that I strive to help people grow to their full potential and live a fulfilled and healthy life in a world that has become more stressful and complex.
Elisha allowed me to harness tools I didn’t know I had inside of me all along. I look forward to Elisha's sessions, it's the one time I know I have a place to put all my stress and pain and leave feeling like a weight is off my shoulders. It makes me a happier person.
